4 years later...

WOW. It's been 4 years since I wrote on this thing. Epic fail! Sorry guys!

I really don't know what to say right now other than I love Twilight and Rob Pattinson. LOL. I'll try to come up with something better to say later.

Off to finish watching Death At A Funeral now...

Again, welcome home sweetie!

Kansas & Styx Concert

Yeah, that's where I've been allllll day. LOL. Well, technically the concert was yesterday since its after midnight now. LOL. Thursday night concert. YAY ME! Anyway, Sally and Rich (my neighbors, Patrick's parents) asked me to go to the concert like four months ago and I totally forgot about it until the other day. My memory is sooo shot!

So, the three of us left around 2 in the afternoon to drive there. (Patrick stayed home with my mom.) It's only 45 mins away and the concert didn't start till 6 or something like that. It was a good thing we left early though - Sally got off on the wrong exit and we got lost!

We finally got there a while later and we just kinda hung around. The concert had a mini carnival or something going on around it so we chilled out until we could get into the concert. We got our picture taken together by Carnival since we watched this free video and supposedly our picture is supposed to be posted on the Carnival Cruise site within 48 hours. I'm dying to see it since we didn't get a sneak peek!

We got into the concert and we sat in the second row of the lawn section, good seats if I do say so myself. BUT, these ignorant people in front of stood up during the ENTIRE concert so we couldn't see unless we stood as well. Everyone stood when Styx came on, but there was no need for it during Kansas since everyone else stayed seated. JERKS. They totally ruined the concert for us. Between their bitchiness and drama - we were soo ready to call it a night before Styx even came on!

We were mainly going to see Styx but Kansas was good too. I knew Kansas was an oldies group like Styx but I never knew how many of their songs I had already known. I knew a lot of them, I just didn't know who had sang them. Now, I do! LOL.

The concert was overall pretty good. Except for when these birds were flying overhead and they crapped on my hand. JUST MINE, no one elses. Sally said it means good luck, I still say its a bunch of bull. Damn birds.

I was pissed after the concert though, Styx didn't sing my favorite song of theirs - Renegade. They sang some of my other favs, but Renegade is my all time fav of theirs. They sang Lady, Lorelei, Too Much Time On My Hands, Mr Roboto, Come Sail Away (they sang it towards the end) and a whole bunch of their newer songs. NO RENEGADE, damn it. My fav Kansas song that I never knew was theirs was How Long.

Actually, maybe they sang it at the end - I'm not sure. We cut out early so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic. Hehe.

Anyway, we just got home! LOL. The concert was pretty good, I enjoyed spending time with Rich and Sally. Uncle Rich made little comments the entire time. He cracks me up. I can't really say a lot of them in here since some are dirty, crude, etc and I don't want to offend anyone. Maybe, I'll share sometime!

Oh and when I got home I found out that my tape didn't record GH cause I had it at the wrong recording setting. (Therefore there wasn't enough time on the tape to record. GRR.) Plus, there was a big news thing at three oclock so my mom missed some of it. And then during soap net's viewing of it we lost power for fifteen minutes. Freaking electric company! We keep losing power due to surges and stuff. It's a bunch of bullshit. *sigh* So, I'll have to catch up on GH in the morning on Soap Net. Hopefully everything works in my favor tomorrow!

Anyway, that was my day away from computer land! And boy did I go through withdrawls! Why do you think I'm on at 1 am? *evil laugh*

Unimportant Facts

THREE TIMES IN ONE WEEK. YAY me!

So, I got this email from Sally (my neighbor, Patrick's mom) and in it was a crapload of useless information. Yet at the same time some of it is fun to know. I just figured id share with everyone. Hehe.

Maine is the only state whose name is just one syllable. {I'll bet you're going to check this out.}

Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing. {Too bad...}

The sentence: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" uses every letter of the alphabet. {Now, you KNOW you're going to try this out for accuracy, right?}

The words 'racecar,' 'kayak' and 'level' are the same whether they are read left to right or right to left (palindromes). {Yep, I knew you were going to "do"this one.}

There are only four words in the English language which end in "dous": tremendous, horrendous, stupendous, and hazardous. {You're not doubting this, are you?}

There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in order: "abstemious" and "facetious." {Yes, admit it, you are going to say...... a e i o u}

TYPEWRITER is the longest word that can be typed using the letters only on one row of the keyboard. {All you typing people are going to test this out}

My Mom Is A Drama Queen

Two updates in the same week! YAY! Go me! HAHA.

Yeah, I had an interesting day today. My mom wanted all my blankets and stuff from my room to wash them and stuff so I stripped my bed and gave them to her. About two hours later she comes running up the stairs yelling and screaming that me and Joey (my brother) have some explaining to do.

So Joey runs down the stairs (he's on the third floor) and I run into her room with him on my heels as she lifts something into the air - showing my dad as she says, "Look what I found in the laundry." (She just had to escalate the whole thing, didn't she? She couldn't just say, this was in the laundry. No, no. She had to run up the stairs yelling for me and Joey while she made a big show of the whole thing.)

It was a condom wrapper.

A condom wrapper!

Why the hell would I have a condom? Seriously! I am not having sex until I'm married, I won't be one of those girls who hops into bed with twenty guys before she graduates high school. Nope. And I know for a fact it wasn't Joey's because no matter how much he messes around and jokes about it, I know he feels the same way I do.

My dad looks at the condom wrapper (which was open) and says, "It's not theirs." And then he looks at my mom and says, "Whose laundry did you find it in?"

My mom said that she had also done Jenn and Chris' (my sister who is 22 and her boyfriend) earlier, but had just noticed it in the dryer now. Dad said that it had to be theirs cause it wasn't mine and Joey's.

(Jenn and Chris don't live with us anymore but a lot of the time my mom does their laundry for them cause she's nice like that.)

Naturally Joey and I continued to mess with mom and dad saying that it was ours and that we were having parties and stuff while they were at work. Joey said it was his cause he and my friend Katie were getting busy up in his room. HAHA. I said it was mine cause I just have nothing better to do with my days.

Mom and dad didn't believe us and Joey and I were heart broken. *sobs*

So that was my drama for the day. Yep.

God, a freaking condom wrapper in the laundry. And the minute I saw it I knew whose it was too - and apparently so did my parents! LMAO.

Okay, I'm off to try and write something, maybe I can actually get some work done today! *sigh*

Quotes Of The Week

Yeah, I haven't blogged in forever. I'm baddddd. I know it.

Today wasn't a good day for me, as has been the last few weeks. Today I was asked to babysit Patrick (My neighbors who we are really close with son). He's going to be five months on the 14th of this month. Anyway, mom, dad and Jenn went to go pick up dad's harley today. (He has TWO motorcycles, the honda and the harley.) The harley has been in the shop so he went to pick it up today and I started watching Patrick around 2:30. His parents didn't show up until about an hour ago. So, now I'm free.

Patrick was okay some of the time, other times he was cranky as hell. One minute he was pulling off my glasses and sucking on the ear piece, the next he was screaming bloody murder. Oh and his favorite thing to do now is suck MY thumb. He's a badass that kid. But, I love him to death, I really do. He's such a cutie! I'm going to have to get a picture for everyone eventually. LOL.

So, yeah - now I'm free to do what I want. And that means I'm FINALLY updating the Quotes of the Week. Only three this week though, okay? Okay. So, here they are! Enjoy!

Tag, I'm It!

So apparently I have been tagged. LOL. (Thanks Jill!)

When did you start blogging and why?

Ummm last month. The end of June, I guess. I was in chat with Jen, Kris, Basira and all them and Kris was talking about her blog so I joined so that I could reply to one of her posts. Hehe.

What don’t you talk about?

You know what? I have no clue! I generally will talk about anything with anyone, I'm not a shy person by any means. But if it's about me, I try to stay private cause I really don't want everyone knowing my business. If I tell you alot, it means I'm comfortable with you and I trust you so I guess if I'm close to someone, there isn't anything I won't talk about with them.

Are you and your blogging persona the same person?

Oh very much so! I'm witty and sarcastic on here, just as I am when I'm not on the computer. I don't lead a double life and I am not bipolar. LOL.

How do you use blogging to build friendships?

Well I like to joke around with people on their blogs and get to know them. By the things a person blogs, you can tell alot about them. And I feel closer to people when I blog and when I see their blogs. So I guess I use posting to build friendships? I don't know...

How would you describe your writing style?

Hmm, I'm going to have to think about that. I don't really have a definite writing style, at least I don't think so. I'm not really sure. As long as I'm happy with it and my BETA is happy, I really don't care. LOL.

Tagging:

I have no one to tag! *sobs*

A Dark And Stormy Night

Yeah, last night we had REALLY bad thunderstorms again. My mom warned me that it was supposed to be as bad as it was the day our power got knocked out. GRR.

But, I don't know how bad it was. Around midnightish I got off the computer...and passed out. So, I can't remember a thing. Hehe. Thank God for exhaustion!

I didn't hear the thunder or see any lightning after I went to bed but before I fell asleep I heard it raining. I love the rain, its so soothing. When it rains I just love to cuddle up on the couch with a good book and relax. I swear I am soo moving to Seattle cause I love the rain so much. *smile*

Okay, TMI. Never mind me!

Yeah, that's all I have to say about that...

I'll be back later to post new quotes for the week! (I am such a loser!)
